Grubs Environmental Commitment

Environmental Policy

GRUBSĀ® cares for our planet through sustainable manufacturing, responsible resource management, and ethical workplace practices.

Grubs Environmental Commitment

100% Rubber Recycling.

We're proud that 20% of the rubber in our boots comes from recycled materials. All waste rubber from production is carefully collected and recycled into the next manufacturing batch, creating a sustainable cycle of material use.

Fabric Recycling Initiative.

Our commitment to sustainability extends to our fabric usage. Nylon and Polyester face fabrics are stripped from our neoprene booties and returned for recycling, with 20% of our fabric made from recycled materials.

Sustainable Packaging.

Our commitment to reducing waste extends to our packaging, with 80% of our box board made from recycled materials. At GRUBSĀ®, we ensure all returned packaging is properly recycled, contributing to our circular economy goals.

Ethical Manufacturing.

We follow UN modern slavery guidelines and are jointly invested in our factory's ethical practices. With an average worker age of 35, our commitment to fair labor practices is at the heart of our manufacturing process.

Green Energy.

Currently, 60% of our energy comes from renewable sources, demonstrating our commitment to sustainable operations. We're proud to announce that this will increase to 80% in 2024 as we continue to reduce our carbon footprint.

Sustainable Commuting.

We actively promote eco-friendly commuting among our UK staff through our walk-to-work initiative. Our car-sharing scheme further reduces our collective carbon footprint, making every journey count towards sustainability.
